SmartBoards Part 1

There is a new technology now available for classroom teachers. It is a Smart Board! This is a fascinating tool. You can run any type of computer program through the board via a computer hookup. One of the fascinating things about the Smart Board is that you can write on it and then save the writing. This will be a handy tool for brainstorming sessions with students in writing workshops. Instead of losing the information as soon as I erase the board, I can instead save it. I also can use this tool for presentations and interactive math problems. I know there are other uses for this tool, but I am still learning the endless possibilities.
